50X Project

50X has approximately 76 Ha of land available for rent from third parties to develop the plantation. The property is located near Paipa, in the Boyacá department, 165 km northeast of Bogotá. The land has direct access to the highway that connects the capital of Boyacá, Tunja, with Bogotá. The property, mainly flat with gently sloping hills, has several water reservoirs already built, and has been declared appropriate for the cultivation of blueberries. The 54 Ha net plantation is expected to be built in 18 months.

The expected yields have been confirmed by SOP's experience in the pilot plantation (Berlin) and market studies that collate Colombian performance figures. SOP is advancing negotiations with some of the world's largest berry production and marketing companies to be in charge of marketing the 50X production.
